I'm twenty years old, and I try to be very open-minded and tolerant on issues like sexuality. Unfortunately, the world can be a very hateful place. When people get on websites to share their work, or to appreciate the work of others, they shouldn't have to be subjected to cruelty and ignorance through hate-filled comments.
Love is love, no matter the form that it chooses to take.
As you can probably tell from my username, my work very often features relationships that go against what you would typically expect to see from the movie or media that inspired it. I love "unprecedented", unions, whether they be between two boys, two girls, or a boy and a girl. And, the two boys primarily depicted in my work, are, in fact from a series of less than stellar Disney movies.
Regarding my stance on the works of my fellow deviants, when I comment, I try to be honest and give only constructive criticism. The rest of the world is going to tear people down, they don't need people mindlessly degrading their art. Art is a form of expression and something that doesn't necessarily require standards.
I also do quite a lot of writing, and my eloquence with language, at least in my opinion, trumps my artistic abilities.
I've been a member of this site for three years, and I've come across many wonderful, incredible people, and talented artists, alike. I can only hope that as my talents grow, and I learn from the artists on here, as well as myself, I may have the pleasure of continuing to have the support of all of my lovely friends and watchers.
Thank you to all of you who have supported me in the past, and to those continue to do so in the present.
