It was apparently performed in character, hence Zac Efron standing in the studio, awkwardly lip-synching to Drew Seeley's voice instead of Drew Seeley, himself, being there. And Zac and Lucas had Troy and Ryan shoot each other flirty smiles before Ryan began singing his part. (Seen in the first gif on this post, boltonevans.tumblr.com/post/69… , and at about one minute and twenty-one seconds in the video.)
This had to be done.
I think I'm actually really proud of this one.
